ELMAHARY Shopping Company, is the largest shopping co in Libya. The first branch was opened in 1999 in Zawiat Aldehmaniarea, it started with 1,200 sq. m. sales area and 50 employees.

The second branch of ELMAHARY Shopping was opened in 2005 in the north-east of Tripoli, the concept was entirely new “Everything is under one roof” in self-service environment and was an overwhelming success, offering 100 parking spaces and 3,500 sq. m. of sales area and over 150
employees.

After nine years of success, and in 2008 the largest branch of ELMAHARY, with 550 of high skilled employees in this sector, was established at the north-west of Tripoli, offering 850 parking spaces and 27,000 sq. m. of retail

sales in six floors including, beside of the wide selection of food, over sixty European brand names of products such as clothes, shoes, watches, gold, electronics, house holding and a dedicated 4000 sq m. floor as a Family Entertainment Centre.

The food section seeks to educate and empower its customers on their choice of foods and products to promote healthy living and proper nutrition under the slogan, Eat Well Spend Less.

Under this unique philosophy, we promote offers of discounts and premiums on selected healthy
products. Its Whole Health section, a destination area, groups foods and products according to their health benefits. To complement this are activation programs such as nutrition counseling and blood sugar testing. It also offers a wide selection of meats, sea foods, fruits and vegetables and organic produce in its Fresh section, and all of that is complemented by well-designed stores that offer convenience and good service. ELMAHARY features a wide variety of merchandise that allows shoppers to complete their grocery shopping under one roof.
